What's all the barking about?

Dear Jaz

Thank you all so very much for the care given to Tucker while we vacationed in the Outer Banks. After viewing the pictures, I am not sure who to thank, since he apparently spent more time romping with the Labs/JRTs than with the humans. Clearly he had a great time. The training that you performed during his stay was awesome and he returned to us a different dog. He no longer jumps or mouths our toddler, and his house manners are overall significantly improved.
I am also pleased to be able to confidently refer my clients and patients from The Doc Side Veterinary Medical Center to you all for training.

Best regards

I wanted to THANK YOU so very much for all your help with Roxy & Chayce.  We have noticed an improvement, still have some work ahead of us, but with practice I think the girls will be great!  You are amazing and I will be sure to recommend you to friends/family!  At this time, because of our work schedules, I don't think we will be able to attend the extra class but I appreciate the offer.  Thanks again for everything! Laura

Starting agility with an energetic young German Shepherd was a challenge. Karma and I have learned a lot in Jaz's beginner agility classes (yes, we both needed to be trained). Jaz is not one to blame the dog when the handler's responsible; at the same time, she gives terrific tips to motivate the dogs to participate and she doesn't abide random I-know-better behavior from the pups, either. I've been through various trainers for various purposes- from shock collars to clicker training for basic manners- and have to say I've learned more basic obedience, complementing the challenge and fun of agility training, in Jaz's classes. The experience has been terrific and we're going to keep going! -Kerry and Karma

Paco and I learned so much from you these past few weeks.  We work on our skills every day and are improving by leaps and bounds.  Many thanx for all your help!  I hope to enroll in the next level of classes sometime in the near future.

I’ve been taking classes with Jaz for about 9 months, first with my 3 year old male Goldendoodle, and then also with my 2 year old female.  In that time, I’ve learned a lot, both about technical aspects of strategy and handling skills, but also about how best to motivate and work with my dogs.  My confidence with them has gone up significantly.  Classes are organized and enjoyable, and it’s obvious that Jaz enjoys working with dogs and their handlers to improve their techniques.  I drive about an hour to classes, sometimes twice a week, and have recommended Raising K9 Agility Club to other Agility friends.

Jaz,
It's unbelievable how well Sammie's doing!  She has not been jumping nearly as much and she seems to be less demanding as well, like she gets her "place" better.  I mean, we're good to her, so we always thought, geeze, doesn't she know when enough's enough?  She seemed spoiled.  I can't explain, but she just has better manners now.  Whatever you did, it worked.  And, in fact, we're getting loads of compliments and people with younger dogs asking when theirs will "settle down".  Hee hee.  Like she's calm!  But, she is so much better for us, still loving her walks and play time, running 4-5 days a week now (since she needs someone to run with her, you're our trainer too, I guess!)
I feel like I "get" her better now, where before she just confused me at times.  Alice

Jaz, just a quick note to say that Tex and I won't be able to make it tonight.  We have a schedule conflict.  Thank you for helping me with Tex.  I've very pleased how he has improved walking without pulling on the leash and his off-leash response.  I'm now getting a much better obedience when the kids are on their bikes.
